I can't believe that it is already 4 years.
I have made my living as a crafter these 1500 days.
I can't describe how much I am encouraged to see my own craftwork get better over these years. The best is yet to come.

I have never thought of making a star war costume is so complicating. I am most of the time not a time controller, especially when I was intended to create something new. This portrait is the first one I added several layers of felt to create a visual depth.

This is a custom order from the united states. I love the whole concept my client throw to me: her cat wearing a space suit sitting on the mars. This embroidered portrait is a gift for her someone special.
I hope all of them, my client Ashley, her cat Kuma and her friend will love this little decoration of life.

夏天再見

雖然已畢業多年，還是很在乎暑假，正所謂暑假在心中！

以前我每年都放暑假；將大假安排在夏天，去一趟長旅行，不就是成人的暑假麼？

2013年我的生活有很多轉變，暑假是放不成的了，不過今年夏天我特高興，因為我成為手工藝人已有一週年了!

這一年裡經歷了好多，開心的，不開心的，人像坐過山車，玩了一次瘋狂的，膽子變大了，我好像變得勇者無懼 + 信自己 + 隨遇而安。起起跌跌，不由得你控制，那你要放開雙手好好享受了。

過去數月只有十件八件的新作品，有些早就賣走了...看來巨B要加把勁了!

I enjoyed my summer vacation every summer though I am no longer a teenager! I had a long trip every summer but not this year.

There are a lot of changes in my year 2013 so the summer vacation was not happened, but this summer I am especially pleased because I have become an artisan first anniversary!

This year, I experienced a lot of bitter and sweet. it feels like riding roller coaster, it starts from stumbling, you can loose your hands and let go.

Over the months I have only made a few works and most are sold ... it encourages Big Baby to work harder!

A custom order in April: a portrait doll in 5 inches for a local dog bakery "Chef Pup". The bakery name is embroidered on Queenie's apron and a mini tray of dog biscuits is made of felt embroidery.

Let's talk about the crafts to cheer us up.

I was thinking of how to make the embroidered cat portrait more detailed, more funny and more worthy to be collected. Meanwhile I suggested to my best friend Winnie that I would portrait her 2 little cats, Rich Boy and Egg Roll, when Winnie said Egg Roll is kind of the cat hard to illustrate.

我想的是如何使我的貓貓刺繡肖像更細緻，更玩味，更值得收藏。我跟我的好朋友雲妮建議，再給好的兩隻頑皮貓咪，發仔和蛋捲，做刺繡肖像。雲妮說：「蛋捲好難整！」

What makes Egg Roll hard to illustrate is the uneven hair color. I admit that its hair is not in lovely color, especially comparing to Rich Boy's, but Egg Roll got such a naughty cat face!

是什麼讓蛋捲「好難整」呢？正是它一身色澤不均勻的貓咪毛！我承認，它的毛色不算可愛，特別是跟發仔比較起來。不過，蛋捲可有一張超頑皮的貓臉了！

The true cats, pretending adorable and staying hungry to a dish of fishes which doesn't belong to them!

To make the portrait of Egg Roll funny, I dressed it in a Renaissance male costume!

X'mas special art inspired ornament - The scream, tribute to Edward Munch.

I love Munch's art. Not only The Scream. His art creates a world of sorrow and fear which no one can reproduce.

The screamer is definitely remarkable!
I apply my free style embroidery to represents the distorted lines...HARD JOB.
Amazed by their faces, looks funny all the time in any scenario.

Both of them are listed in etsy now, waiting some art lovers to bring them home.

What's going on November?

Sorry I haven't blogged for three weeks! Quiet here...

I am busy with lots of new craft ideas and some custom orders in etsy. Have been beading less and doing more felt embroidery because some idea could never be realized by beading. 

What have I made? Well, weird Christmas ornament, gingerbread man costuming horror movie killer, The screamer dolls and some new beaded food jewelry in progress...

I will post them all and, suprisingly our first GIVEAWAY! I will show you one by one today...

近來是超忙的。有很多新的手作念頭和一些在Etsy的訂製作品要一一做好。的確是少了串珠，多了做不織布刺繡的手作品，因為近來的想法都不能用串珠好好表現。

Danelle love my design of Fall Leaves Bracelet but she'd like the leaves smaller. I made the 1 inches leaves instead and finally a more beautiful bracelet comes!

Shannon saw my masked gingerbread man doll in etsy. It reminded her Jason from Friday the 13th and her loved halloween movie brother. With her funny idea, a creepy cute gingerbread man ornament is here: gingerbread man having Jason removable mask and a tiny bloody machete!

When decorating the gift box cover I thought of making everything bloody and painted a bloody scene...real creepy cute at all!

Shannon在Etsy看到我的面膜薑餅人娃娃。這讓她想起了《月光光心慌慌》的主角傑森，和她那愛看恐怖片的弟弟。她有趣的想我做一個令人毛骨悚然的薑餅人聖誕吊飾送給她弟弟：薑餅人傑森 - 戴著傑森面具，手拿一個微型血淋淋的大砍刀想殺人了！
 
我想還畫了一個血淋淋的禮品盒封面......可愛得嚇人呢！
